Hospice care is 100% covered for beneficiaries with Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, and most commercial insurance plans. However, Medicare will only cover hospice care if the provider is Medicare-approved. Coverage includes all necessary services related to the patient’s terminal illness.
Hospice services can be provided in the comfort of a patient’s home, allowing them to remain in a familiar, supportive environment surrounded by loved ones. If necessary, hospice care can also be delivered in a Medicare-certified hospice facility, hospital, or skilled nursing center.

A physician and our hospice team will assess the patient’s condition to determine eligibility. If you are a healthcare provider or social worker, we can assist with eligibility verification for your patients.
